Eleven area high school seniors will be competing for the title of Best Teen Chef this Saturday, March 17 at The Art Institute of Dallas. The winner will move on to compete at the national level.

Up for grabs is a full scholarship worth up to $35,000 to study culinary arts at one of The Art Institutes. In all, more than $200,000 in tuition scholarships will be awarded. Following the local competitions held around the country, 20 finalists will attend the national Best Teen Chef 2007 event to be held on Saturday, May 5, 2007, at The Art Institute of Dallas.

The contestants will cook the same four dishes for a panel of esteemed judges, who will choose the winner.
