New Instructor Has Impressive Animation Background
Animator Johan Klingler has recently joined the staff at The Art Institute of Dallas as an instructor in the Media Arts & Animation program. His resumé boasts quite a film reel: he worked on layout and character animation for The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty & the Beast, Tarzan, Curious George, Scooby Doo 2, and the recent Ant Bully, among many others.
He has also animated computer games and television programs for Walt Disney Studios and Warner Brothers.
Mr. Klinger was the Dean of the Animation and Film School at The Art Institute of Southern California, where he taught layout and scenic design, character design, cinematography, traditional and computer animation, and life drawing for the animator. He will be teaching similar courses at The Art Institute of Dallas.
