Bella Moda Fashion Show - A Stylish Success
The Fashion Design students at The Art Institute of Dallas recently presented their quarterly fashion show on Thursday, September 21 at 7:00 pm at the Richardson Civic Center.
The show, which was entirely student-run and produced, gave Fashion Design students real-life experience to supplement their classroom experience – they produced a 5-piece collection within a 10-week time period. Students nearing graduation had their work featured, but any Fashion Design student has an opportunity to show their work. They have planned and executed everything from the floor plan to the decorations to the music selection.
This event was a collaborative effort, as other departments from The Art Institute of Dallas pitched in. The Video Production students filmed the event, and the Culinary Arts students catered it.
Prior to the start of the fashion show, graduating students showcased their work in a Portfolio Show. They included: Kelli Caperton, Leslie Castro, Erika Cerda, Mayra DeHoyos, Marichelle Espinoza, Clara Gomez, Felicia Harvey, Stephanie Kerr, Jayna Mazzaferro, Suzana Pjetrovic, Jennifer Rodgers, and Rosa Tovar.
Congratulations on a job well done!
