Jesse Neargarder and Shazia Kirmani, both Interior Design Students at The Art Institute of Dallas, were featured in the September issue of D Home Magazine - including the cover shot!

Jesse, a current student, and Shazia, who graduated in June 2006, are roommates and have decorated their apartment in creative and innovative ways. This was the subject of the article, appropriately titled “WOW.” The 8-page color spread featured photographs and tips on how to imitate their style on a budget.

But that’s not all: Porhault linens threw a party for them at their Highland Park boutique on September 7! Neargarder and Kirmani have styled the display window at Porthault, which will be up all month. The party launches Porthault’s series of windows by emerging young designers. The event highlighted their work as well as raised funds for The MELAS Branch of The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.
