Art Institute of Dallas Graduates on the Big Screen
DNA Productions, a Dallas-based animation house which is composed of many graduates from The Art Institute of Dallas, has now animated the upcoming feature “The Ant Bully” at the request of its co-producer…Tom Hanks.
DNA so impressed Hanks with its first feature film, the 2001 Oscar-nominated Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, that he hand-picked them to animate a children’s book which he was turning into a film. “The Ant Bully” features the voices of Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep and Nicolas Cage, and hits theaters July 28th.
The Art Institute of Dallas, which provided many of the 250 people who worked on the film, churns out animation and gaming professionals at a rapid pace, and Hollywood has taken notice.
