AiDallas Instructor Screens Film at the Inwood Theatre
The prestigious Art Institute of Dallas and Landmark’s Inwood Theatre proudly present a new independently-produced feature movie, PANIC TIME, an original sci-fi comedy about a woman who travels back in time to kill her husband, on Tuesday, July 25th at 7:30 pm.
PANIC TIME is Dallas-based writer/producer/director John Carstarphen’s third film. His first feature, STEALIN HOME, released in 1995, was screened at the USA Film Festival and 10 other festivals, winning Best Feature twice. His second feature, FLMKR, was presented at both the Cannes Forum and Cannes Market. Mr. Carstarphen is a member of the faculty at The Art Institute of Dallas.
This presentation is FREE and open to friends, industry professionals, members of the media, educators, artists, and students. The feature will be screened in the Inwood’s large downstairs theater. Seating is open, and will be followed by a Q & A with the director in attendance. The Inwood Theatre is located on Lovers Lane at Inwood Road.
Emily Lockhart leads a fresh cast of outstanding local actors, including Kirk Extrell, Russell Reynolds, Arianne Martin, Jeff Chavez, Lawrence Sutherland and Gary Schnitzer. The talent appears courtesy of The Horne Agency and Linda McAlister Talent. Associate Producers are Susan Sponsler-Carstarphen and Mike Zeitzmann.
