HP and The Art Institutes Student Poster Contest Winners Announced
Brian Smith, an Interactive Media Design student at The Art Institute of Dallas, was selected as the local winner for the HP and Ther Art Institutes Student Poster Competition. Brian will receive an HP Digital camera. Additional kudos to Patel Anjali who’s design was selected for an honorable mention.
Student designers were required to illustrate the concept “Engineered for Innovators” and had to follow strict guidelines to be eligible for the competition.
Nearly 50 submissions were entered into the contest by Art Institute students from around the United States. Smith is not new to the world of student competition. He was the first place winner in the multi-media category of the 2004 High School Scholarship Competition hosted by The Art Institute of Dallas.
I hope that creative companies such as HP would continue to provide similar incentive opportunities that give exposure to students pursuing a creative career,” says Smith, “It’s a great opportunity to tone one’s skills to a professional level and to develop a creation based on a marketing concept.”
